A Wonderful Waco Weekend

Last weekend we visited Papa and Granna while Joe went to Austin to watch the World Cup with some of his buddies/bros. We had a fun time visiting Papa at his bank. (Drew in front)

 

And went to Lion’s Park to ride the choo choo train, which is always a highlight of the kids’ weekend. (Andrew on L, Ethan on the R.)

 

We rode on our very own boats (Sav picked pink)

We rode in horse-drawn buggies (Ben in red, Ethan in blue, and Sav)

Then we played in the sprinklers in Papa’s beautiful backyard (Sav and Ben)

 

and the kiddie pool (which they have obviously outgrown since last year! Ha) Ethan up front, Drew  in the back

 

and the ever-amusing “bucket-head”…the kids still love putting random items on their heads

 

of course, whatever Savannah does, Ben must do

Puddle Jumpers and Water Wrinkles

We had SOOOOOO much fun at the Steeces over Memorial Day Weekend!

We were all absolutely amazed at how much better the quads could swim this year---especially with their new Puddle Jumpers.

Thanks for all of your AWESOME advice last year about the Puddle Jumpers---These things are the BEST floaties EVER invented! Now, I can take the kiddies swimming all by myself, which has been AMAZING!

This pretty much sums up our holiday weekend:

As all of you Moms already know, I LOOOOOOVE pool days because they totally wear out the kiddies! And sleeping kids make for happy parents---can I getta AMEN? Savi and Grammy.

Stuff

We had an absolutely WONDERFUL Memorial Day weekend! I cannot wait to blog about it. And a huge thanks to our men and women in the service- past, present and future- we owe our freedom and our very lives to you. May God bless you and your families for all that you do. We appreciate you more than you will ever know.

Our weekend involved 4 very big kids, swimming like little fishies in their new floaties!!! This is going to be such a fun summer!
