We are on the south side of Houston. I want to get up and leave town if need be (I don't play around with bad weather)..but I CAN'T until the last second b/c I am supposed to be "the boss" :( ...MY boss said that we won't be able to cancel anything until probably Thursday (she's not worried)...
we will have to wait and see what mean 'ole Rita is going to do...

That is scary! You had better get out of there if they tell you to evacuate!!! I'll be praying for it to be a mild one.
went grocery shopping tonight...all the water is out...everywhere! or at least all of our neighboring stores...we got the last dozen! this is crazy. people are freaking. i hope this is all for nothing...but better safe than sorry. we will be evacuating (probably thursday, for sure friday) to go stay with my cousin in college station. got to do some serious packing right now :) (weird packing up all the things you deem important)
