Calling All Prayer Warriors...

Saturday morning update:

As of late last night, Clark was stable and doing well. I have not heard from Murray this morning...but I'm guessing that is good news.

And please be praying for Tuesday's family...she passed away yesterday after her battle with cancer. Heart breaking...I think I've cried every day this week. So much pain and sickness attacking so many of my friends...this is just weighing on my heart SO heavily...

(I promise to post something fun and uplifting SOON!)

--------------------------------
Friday

I am updating my blog on Jen Murray's behalf...her son Clark took a trip to the ER yesterday with respiratory distress. He has croup and was having a violent attack. Doctors were able to stabilize his breathing and after a clear x-ray, Clark was discharged.

Today, Clark began having symptoms again---coughing uncontrollably and difficulty breathing...no treatment was working, so the Murrays ended up in the ER again. Jen called to tell me that the little man is being transferred to another hospital and will be admitted into the PICU (Pediatric ICU). Clark is currently sedated and stable. Doctors believe that this is a viral infection attacking the poor little guy's lungs.

The other 3 boys have the same symptoms, but on a much milder scale. Please keep this sweet family in your prayers---especially little Clark, and I will keep you updated until Murray can get back to her computer.

Please keep the Murray fam in your prayers!
(Love you guys!)

My 2 youngest just went through the same thing. Bad cough, congestion & super high fever. We went to the ER & had to spend time in the hospital as well. It was RSV. Cold & Brondhitis. They said it was viral. It took a week for the fever to go away & 2 weeks for the cough to go away. God Bless. I feel for you..

Suz,

My name is Brent Riggs. I'm Abby's dad (www.riggsfamilyblog.com). We have seven kids, three adopted, one with Leukemia (Abby).

We have a magazine called Serious.Life that many bloggers like you, and us, are part of.

We are publishing an issue Monday, and I happened on to your site today, and really was hoping to get something from your blog into this issue. I could instantly tell that your blog/family are exactly the type of folks in the magazine.

Check out the magazine here: www.seriouslifemagazine.com

I know all this is a short notice rush, but you'll quickly feel right at home with all of our Christian, family-oriented readers. The magazine is very popular (this is the fourth issue, already hundreds of thousands of views)... over 300 bloggers are participating this month with both content and creating a reader network they ALL benefit from.

I know I've probably left more questions than answers... could you email if interested, and I'll answer whatever you ask? brent@brentriggs.com

PS. I was sad when I read about Tuesday last night. I was actually writing a post to our readers to pray for her, when I checked their blog and saw she was gone.

How SAD...I read Tuesday website after reading your post...the tears could not stop coming...how incrediably SAD...her post about nursing Tuesday in that same spot 2 years earlier and all the precious memories she has...this kind of pain is unimaginable... I pray that God will give her peace and let her know that she is in His perfect arms right now.

Suz

I'm a friend of Jen Murray (know her through my mom) and I just happened to click on your link for the little girl Tuesday, and SHE LIVED IN MY TOWN! The service will be held literally 2 blocks from where I live. Now, I know more specifically how to pray. Thank you for the update.

They are all in my prayers. I read the story about Tuesday and it just broke my heart. The poor Murray family. I hope Clark is doing better and the other boys have not gotten as bad as Clark.
