We had such a great time last weekend with Uncle Dan (and soon to be) Aunt Dani! They recently got engaged- WOO HOO! We took the quads to the playground, out to eat, and played in the backyard.
Trying out the kiddie pool--hoping Ben will warm up to the idea of water...
...not so much
Uncle Dan playing peek-a-boo with Drew (L) and Ethan (R) who thought it was hilarious
Sweet Ben...he's like trying to put a cat in water, poor little fella
MUCH happier on dry land...playing with Dan
The twins couldn't get enough of the pool.
Dani, Larkin, Ben, and Savannah enjoying a nice little water break
I love how anything and everything can become a toy
"Uncle Dan! Put me down...a girl's gotta fix her hair!"
(Miss Thang LOVES carrying around her brush, combing through her hair and following her bros around trying to brush their hair as well...its so funny)
"Okay, how does it look now?"
Not much to report...LOTS of teething going on around here this week...poor babies.

Poor sweet Ben. Does he hate the bathtub too??
Love your precious babies!!! And, sista, you're spoiling me, two post in two weeks with Joe Shirtless, WOO HOO!!! Love You!!
I love that you appreciate each of your children's difference, Suz. My daughter HATED the pool for one whole summer and now LOVES it. I didn't have any siblings to compare her to (just her other little friends who loved the water) and I felt like there was something wrong with her or me since she hated the pool. Now I have come to accept her ultra-cautious personality in all things NEW.
Your attitude toward mothering is always inspiring!
I love your swimsuit! Where is it from?
mandy- thanks! umm..dillards or macy's last year? can't remember the brand.
Man, poor Ben! It's going to be a rough, hot summer for that little man! My theory is it's good to have at LEAST one little one who you don't have to worry about while around water - even 3 is easier to lifeguard than 4, right? And so so sorry the babes are all teething - poor little thangs and poor mommy!! Ugh! Love you, stay strong those teeth will come through soon and then maybe your ears will stop ringing. -Mari
Any results from the testing? How did everything go?
Those are cute pictures!
I can empathize with Ben! I've never liked water (except the bath tub). Even as an adult, I rarely get in a pool. I'll go in the ocean on a vacation, so about once a year(and I live near the beach!!!)! People must think I'm crazy because I'm fully clothed when everyone else in in bathing suits swimming.
Such cute pictures! Love the story about Sav carrying her brush!
Adorable pics as always!! They are all just so precious!!!
I love how the whole fam gets in on the kiddie pool action:)
Oh that last picture just cracks me up!
suz, i have been meaning to comment since i started reading your blog, back when the quads were wee ones! i found you through my friend from uvalde, charla. and randomly, i think i know joe from a&m (was he in cosga or ol' ags or both?)! anyway, wanted to say that your sweeties are SO cute, i can't even stand it. and you make this look easy. and you look fabulous while doing it! :)

I love the pics! so cute..... And I love Sav's suit.... I got one like it for my crew.
Hope the teething goes by quickly. I think a few of mine are working on the 2-yrs molars.
Have fun! ANd we will do a playdate soon!
You watch..Ben will end up on his high school swim team or something. You'll both be laughing at these pictures one day. I think a lot of kids have sensory issues. My son could not stand for his knees or feet to touch grass when he was a baby. Now, I can't keep shoes on him. He comes home from school, throws off his shoes and heads to the back yard.
I'm glad the other kids like the pool..Ben will enjoy it eventually.
Love Savannah's hair styling ability. ;)

That pool looks fun!! Gotta love the backyard makeshift pools for babies...if only they made them slightly bigger so both parents can fit!! Our daughters whale pool could use a few extra feet. :)
Oh Ben...remember you live in TX and those hot summer days have to be cooled by the pool :)
I can not believe how much Joe & Dan look alike...WoW! I guess I noticed, but did not realize :) YAHOO for Dan&Dani...she is already in the family from all the pictures...:)
Oh miss Sav...so sweet with all her sass! Such a sweetheart! Ethan and Drew are growing so fast too!
Love to you all & Have a great weekend!

Hey Suz, the pool looks like a lot of fun, can not wait to get my baby in. The kids are getting so big. I love Sav smile. Kiss the kids. Tell Joe we said hello.
Hope to see you soon.
Big lo.
You have over a thousand followers and there are only 18 ( now 19 ) comments. I need to start commenting more!
Does Ben do that in the tub too. So funny! My little man is not partial to the tub unless his brother is with him.
Hope he warms up soon, got a long summer to practice =)
Congrats on the engagment!! that's exciting :)
A girl's gotta look good!
my almost-5-yr-old is also terrified of the water. we're making him take swim lessons this year to try and get him acclimated to the water (it probably won't be much fun for anyone involved!). he was the same way when he was that age that ben is now!
Savannah sure is a little Diva! Your kids are so cute, you guys are the best parents!!
my son is just now starting to like a bath and the pool.
My Savannah (Penelope Savannah!) has the same swimsuit as your darling girl! I totally giggled when I saw that!

Hey Suz - this is my first time commenting but I have been following your blog since the quads were born. They are so stinking cute! My son is just a few weeks younger than your little ones so it is fun to read along and see what yours are up to these days! :-) Just wondering where you got your bathing suit? It is totally cute.

I'm a loyal reader who just has to ask, where did you get your bathing suit? I love it!
HI Suz~~ I've been lurking for a long time - but haven't ever commented!! Just wanted to tell you how adorable ya'lls kids are - just precious!! :) I really enjoyed reading about the birthing story and all that you went thru - bless your heart - WAY TO GO GIRL!! You were a trooper!! :) I grew up in TX and all my family are AGGIES - so I feel the bond there! I was the youngest of 3 and had 2 older brothers - and that is one of my memories of childhood - chasing my brothers around trying to comb their hair!! I would get a little glass of water and dip the comb in it, then comb their hair!! When you wrote about Savannah trying to comb their hair it triggered a memory I haven't thought of in YEARS!!! Just wanted to say KUDOS to you and your blog - you do an amazing job!!! :) and you will LOVE it in the years to come ( to look back on!!) Take care!!
