"...Buy Me Some Peanuts and Crackerjacks..."

Last week we took the quads to their very first Major League baseball game to watch the Minnesota Twins beat the Texas Rangers! (We were going to make shirts for the kids that said "Twins 4 Twins"...but ran out of time...so we put them in as much navy and red that we could round up.) It was the perfect night to go because it was a Tuesday (work day) and no one was there.

Our good friend, Adam, met us out for a fun-filled night with the quads (what a trooper!)

Benny boy sportin' the backwards hat...growing up too fast!

Go Twins! (Joe, Sav, Drew, E, Ben, Suz)

Ethan LOVED the game and would cheer every time he heard the crowd get loud

Ben starting the wave...gettin' a little crowd participation going

Just look at these awesome smiles! The kids truly enjoyed themselves! Sweet Sav

Drew bud

Little E

Ben-jah-meen

Love this pic of Ben- he was going in for a kiss. (Anytime I hold the phone out to talk to someone, he always leans in to kiss the phone---thinking it is the same thing as kissing the person on the other end of the line! So cute) Look at that pucker!

Silly Drew...sometimes I catch him making the funniest faces- all while no one is watching him. He will close his eyes and smile...such a goober!

Savannah trying out cotton candy for the 1st time---no one really dug it

Forget the cotton candy--more goldfish peeeeez!

Joseph and 'lil Josephina

The TWINKS! (Andrew, Ethan)

I LOOOOOVE this pic of Ben and Adam---how cute are they in their plaid shorts & tennies?!

Finally toward the end of the night, Ethan put his head down on the table and said, "Night, night"...guess that was our cue to go! (They made it to the bottom of the 4th with no meltdowns!)

Savi and Mommy walking out with their matching pigtails

We said one last "bye bye baseball" (or make that about a billion...it was repeated over and over and over on the drive home...pretty funny---for the first thousand times) and tucked in the little ones around 9:30 pm. What a great night!

So fun! Next year you'll have to come to the multiples day in the new Minnesota Twins stadium. They have a multiples parade before the game and you get free tickets for the kiddo's. The game is in September this year and I'm super excited to take my girls!

  15. If you precious "babies" had smiled any bigger their poor faces would have broken. They are gorgeous. I know that boys are supposed to be handsome, but I think they are still young enough that I can get by with gorgeous. They are so blessed to have parents who will take them places. I know it can't be easy.

    God Bless,

  30. Oh, it looks like you guys had a GREAT TIME!! And how cute are Sav's glasses? Girlfriend knows how to rock some frames :O).

I have a totally random question.. but I figured I would throw it out there! Can you post about FOOD? What are your family's favorite meals? And how do you have time to make them? Do you do a lot of prep work beforehand? What foods do the quads love best? Which do they hate? And while we're on the topic, you guys seem to have (and attend) a lot of backyard BBQ's - what is your favorite BBQ food, grilled or otherwise (sides, desserts, etc). We're hosting one soon and I would love some ideas!!

  31. Hi! I love your blog!! I have completely fallen in love with it. I am just curious...what hospital do you work at? I work at a hospital too and I think we live in the same area. I know, you probably don't want to give that information out to the "creepy blog girl" but you can email me if you like rikkihester@sbcglobal.net. Again, love your blog and I think you are absolutely beautiful!!!

  32. Looks like everyone had a great time! LOVE all the pic's, especially the one of all of you in the stands! TOO cute! So far Brendan is the only lucky one, his Uncle took him to a gave last year. So much planning & that was just for ONE kid! I have not ventured down that road, yet, with our complete tribe. LOL! I keep praying for that EXTRA cool night to be able to take all of them. Maybe next year!
    Love, Cathy & her quads

  33. Now Ryan is dying to take Clara to a Rangers game! At least the tickets will be cheaper than if he wanted to take her to an A&M game. Sheesh! She went once while in my belly and she may not go again until she's a student and has a sports pass! HA!

This is random...but what did you do as far as potty training? Did you use a separate potty or a potty seat for the big potty? Any advice to get started? I'd really appreciate any help you have to offer. :)
