Follow up:
Sav's renal scan was delayed several hours..but we finally made it down to radiology around 3:30pm yesterday. Liz was such a help as we tried to comfort the little miss during her test. I'm so glad Sav hadn't napped all day, because after about 10 minutes of screaming, she just passed out from pure exhaustion.
A little over an hour, we headed back to our room to wait for the doc with the test results. Around 5:30p/6p, Dr. Pinto informed us that Savannah's previous kidney surgery (a Pyeloplasty in June '09) on her right side had fixed her obstruction completely! Her kidney was filling and emptying perfectly! Praise God!
He then gave us our discharge orders so we could spend the night in our own beds! Yaay! Around 7:30pm, we loaded our stuff and headed downstairs. Miss Priss wanted to help roll the cart the whole way down and was feeling GREAT!
I am once again, truly amazed at the resilience of little children and the grace of God. Sav has been pain free today and is back to her "old" self---bossing her brothers around, playing dress up and dancing around the living room in various tutus and fairy wings. Thank you SOOOOOOOOO much for all of your prayers, positive thoughts, and well wishes. We DEFINITELY feel the love! ;)
Sav will return for a follow up renal sonogram in about a month...but no more renal scans, no more VCUGs, no more urinary catheters, no more daily antibiotics EVER AGAIN! SOOOOOOOOOO happy!!!
Praying for a happy, healthy, surgery-free 2010! ;)

So very much to be thankful for! Praise God!
Great news!
My kidney girl had the deflux procedure this summer on both her kidneys (not nearly as difficult as all you guys have been through), but it was still hard and a relief to have done as well. I understand your happiness about no more VCUGs, catheters, daily meds, etc., etc.,
Have a wonderful weekend : )

Praise God! It brought tears to my eyes reading this update. Yay Sav!
Soooo happy for you guys, Sav looks GREAT! We, too, go to Dr. Pinto for my daughters kidneys. She was diagnosed with kidney reflux disease this last July. She's had one VCUG and was on antibiotics for 6 months. Right now we are just waiting and hoping she does not have anything else, and then she'll have another VCUG this next July to see if the problem has corrected itself. Congrats on a healthy start to the season - I hope its your BEST yet! They are all just little dolls:) I have enjoyed getting to know your precious family via the blog world!
Woohoo! That's great news! Congratulations to Savannah.
