Last weekend, Joe went to Vegas for his 10 yr anniversary fantasy football draft with his best friends… so the kids and I headed on down to Waco to play with Papa & Granna.
Papa took all of these pics.
So much sass in this girl
The whole motley cru… don’t let these little angelic faces fool you~ they have been absolute PISTOLS lately.
Ethan and Andrew
Mom and I snuck out of the house to get our nails done and left Papa to fend for himself…tee hee.
Ethan still loves his little Diego tricycle
Drew has mad skillz on this big wheeler…just like his Mama used to!
Stay outta Ben’s way---he’s super fast, but has great control.
Little Miss Priss will fight anyone who dares to TOUCH her Dora tricycle…
Shiloh dog, enjoying the beautiful, COOL, Saturday morning.
Caught you, Ben! This is the same tree that my bro and I used to climb onto the roof and jump off of. Yep, I’m waiting for payback on that one.
All dressed and ready to cheer on our Ags (A, E, S, B)
Fun times at Kiddieland (a staple of every Waco trip)
Pure bliss
Love this picture of Sav on the carosel
Me and my Momma
Drew- having a blast on the ride that goes about 1.3 mph. LOL
Up, up and away!!!
Sweet Granna & Papa~ we love you guys so much! Thanks for spoiling my kids rotten this weekend. (I really enjoyed the detox when we got home… heh, heh)
Ice Cream at Baskin Robbins, of course! (A, S, E, B)
Poor Dad missed out on all the fun…
oh wait, what’s that? Don’t worry~ he had his ice cream too. I received this picture from my brother-in-law (in Vegas) around 3am on Sunday morning. Such a GOOB!
We went to church on Sunday, out to eat, and to the Children’s Museum…however, there are NO pictures of this day. The kids were a “15” on my 1-10 annoyance scale.
Joey 2 Shoes couldn’t get home soon enough!!!!!
I love my kids, I really do---- they are just driving me absolutely NUTS right now with the NOT LISTENING, not following directions, attitudes, whining, tattle-telling, etc.
I’m completely outnumbered & currently flying the white flag.
Mama needs to suck it up and regroup!
I love your blog and personality!
ReplyDeleteYou would be a hoot to hang with!
Your kids are precious and love reading!
Oh and welcome to the SEC ;-)
I only have two boys (almost 5 and almost 3), and the two of them are driving me nuts lately, so I feel really bad for you! Hopefully the start of fall will bring our little sweeties back!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and love reading about what your precious kiddos are up to. My daughter is about 2 months younger than yours and I can 1000 percent relate to how you just described your 5 year olds lol! She is about to do me in and there is only 1 of her (granted I do have her little 2.5 year old brother in the full throws of the Terrible 2's to contend with, but still, LOL!). You are a rock star mom for living through 4 of them :) They are so adorable though..hehehehe!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh...I thought I was the only one with a non-listening, whining, annoying 5 yr old!! This makes me feel so much better! :)
ReplyDeleteGod love ya, I don't know how you do it! With just Brayton I want to go a little crazy sometimes too. I constantly mommymommymommy. Bless you!
ReplyDeleteIt is just crazy to see pictures of y'all in Waco and Kiddieland and BR are RIGHT by my house!!! I would die if I ever ran into you when y'all were in town!!! Is that stalkerish??? Sorry! Ha!
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog so much! I teach kiddos your age and bet your kids teachers love getting to be a part of their lives! They are so cute! I have had many twins in my class but never quads and love getting to see the cool pics and the personalities of your kids you capture through your blog! Thanks for sharing your life with all of us! I pray for you and your sweet family! You guys are truly special! xx
ReplyDeletetotally digging the bangs girlfriend!! and I am so stealing "pistols".. much gooder than what I typically call them.. teeheehee
ReplyDeleteI can feel your pain....but with only one (I have 3 but two of them are too young to have hit this phase yet). It's a bit comforting to know mine is not the only one that doesn't listen.
ReplyDelete5yr olds are so much fun aren't they?
ReplyDeleteSo full of energy and attitude. I've been there and done that with my older 5 but I've never had to do it with more than one at a time so you have my respect and admiration.
5 year olds are pistols (lol! great expression!). My 5.5 year olds have been quite the challenge this year - there were days where I thought their hearing ought to be tested because they would NOT listen (agh!). I keeping telling myself it's a phase...
ReplyDeleteGreat pics, as always! I really adore your blog :o)
Your kiddos are so cute! Sorry they are going through the non listening phase!! At least your dad was able to watch them so you could get your nails done and a lil break!!

1. I love your darker hair color...looks really pretty!
ReplyDelete2. Your kiddos have been looking so much 'older' in your last few posts...definitely not babies anymore! They look like young men and a young lady!!
Great pictures, as always! Hang in there mom! They will always outnumber you...just don't let them see that white flag!! :)1
Please tell your Mom hi for us. She was a fantastic teacher to our daughter, Alli, in 3rd grade at TCA when we moved to Waco. She is now a Sophomore in high school, but we have such fond memories of her kindness to Alli as she adjusted to a new school & new town. A friend told me about your blog years ago & when I made the connection, it was even more cool to follow you! You are a wonderful blogger & seem to have the same kind heart that your Mom has. God bless you & your adorable family.

ReplyDeletehi suz, great post! i know that this doesnt have anything to do with this blog post, but i know that you have a lot of prayer warriors out there who read your blog. there is a little 13 y.o. boy in KY named Lane Goodwin who is suffering from cancer for a 3rd time. on tuesday, he was sent home from vanderbilt children's hospital to go on hospice. please pray for this little boy that God will give him a miracle or at least that Lane won't suffer. here is a link to the FB page his family runs: http://www.facebook.com/PrayersforLaneGoodwin
