Sprinklers and Popsicles

Yesterday was absolutely beautiful, so we all put on our swimsuits and played in the backyard. It was the quad's first encounter with sprinklers and the water hose. (Thanks for the idea, Mari!) I've got some great pics and good footage of the highlights!

Sassy Sav checking out the awesome sprinkler ball that Chris gave us and pointing to a plane

Drew in the Green, Ethan in the Hawaiian shorts

Ben (pouting after getting sprayed---watch the video, hilarious- but sad for Ben at the same time!)

Some quick snippets of our fun-filled afternoon:

Andrew seriously makes us laugh every day. This kid is beyond quirky--just a different little guy. His personality is hilarious.

Ethan- my little waterbug...obsessed with his bellybutton. He's actually saying "bellybutton" (or his version of the word) in this pic.

Sav carried this "wand" (or drumstick) around all day--she either feels like a princess, or uses it as protection against her bros! (probably a little of both!)

Peek-a-boo never gets old...

My buddies

Ben loves to chill...right here in the same spot. Doesn't move for hours...perfectly content watching the planes fly by.

Ethan checking out the giant ball that sprayed him earlier...

seconds later, Drew did the same thing...

Miss Priss catchin some rays...

LoVe this pic! It reminds me of my childhood and eating popsicles outside in my swimsuit with my cousins...

Ahhh...Happy Spring! We thoroughly enjoy the Spring, because we will be SWEATING profusely in NO time here in Texas!

    "That's Awesome". I agree.

It's heart "warming" to see you all enjoying the weather. Just weird that we live in the same country as it's sleeting here while I type. Wanna move to Indiana????? LOL.

  8. Made me smile and laugh out loud ("it's awesome"). And, I love what a good dog Shiloh is. But, how is your yard so neat? My dog tears up my yard by romping through it - light lightening.

You don't know me, but I'm so fascinated with your blogs (I found you thru my friends brothers page on King Quads), and I too had to watch that video of the twins. Not only did they pick up the piece at the same time, but the way their hands BOTH go up, then down to pick it up in the same way was totally neat. Multiples are so awesome!!

  39. Such cuties! I love that she has 3 brothers to protect her! So sweet!

  42. Adorable!

Be careful of that drumstick Sav is holding...the bottom three stripes come off and are a perfect choking size! We had two sets and it happened to three out of four of the sticks...once in a toddlers mouth! I thought it was a fluke the first time, but it wasn't the case...

  43. so adorable........looks like ya'll are having a blast. I love the "it's awesome" video....it's so clear! Oh and well i pretty much loved this post and it's giving me warm weather fever!

  44. I desperately need your help! How do you keep your Beagle from shedding all over the place??!!

I am 36 weeks pregnant and we own a beagle who rules the house! He is sweet but sheds all over the place! I don't want it to get all over the baby's stuff. And..the baby is coming soon!

  45. I have to tell you that I recently discovered quite possibly the best summer invention ever! You have to look for 'Mighty Mini's' by Popsicle brand. These popsicles are about a quarter the size of normal popsicles and melt MUCH slower. They are made with a touch of gelatin and they are virtually drip free! They are called 'slow melt' popsicles in some states (I am in CA) Because of the smaller size they are perfect for kids and have a lot less sugar. I have a 15 month old and a 2 1/2 year old and these popsicles are the BEST. Try them you won't be dissapointed (:
