Bought this t-shirt today...

Yup...sure did buy this shirt today...
I'm thinking it should say, "BEWARE!...I'm Having Quads"

This is me at 9 weeks (in my 10th week of pregnancy)

I don't know if I'm far enough along for this to happen or not, but my back is KILLING me! You can see it already swaying. Every day during work, my back begins to hurt worse and worse as the day progresses. By the end of the day, I am literally LIMPING to my car. (I'm walking like a woman who is 8-9 months pregnant, but I'm only in my 3rd month!) After laying down for several hours, it feels a little better. When I wake up the next morning, the limp is gone and the day starts all over again!

Blah, blah, blah, right? Quit complaining! I DO want you all to know that Joe and I are doing a little bit better with the whole thought of having quads. I've been reading these other "quad blogs" everyday and they really give me hope! (I'm trying to prepare mentally and spiritually for the whole "complete bed rest" that will take place very soon!...afraid that I am going to go STIR CRAZY!)

Awesome shirt! I searched and searched for a cute one, but couldn't find one even close to being that cute. I think it is definitely normal for your back to hurt. You're becoming unbalanced, and it throws everything off! Love the belly!!

I think you guys are amazing!! Wear that shirt with pride, and worse case, just add the BEWARE part!! :) We're praying for you. I spent 10 weeks on bedrest with my first baby, I know you'll have a lot longer to spend, but you can do it!! Keep your eye on the prize~4 tiny precious babies!

Take Care~

Hey!

Maybe you remember me? My name was Robyn Klatt before I got married...I went to Midway...was in youth group at Columbus Ave with you and Dave and Jonathan and Adrianna and Nathan. Remember? I am working with Amy Boyd right now and she sent me your blog link. I just wanted to email and say that you are precious and this is amazing and I will pray for you, hubby, and all the babies. My husband and I just moved to Dallas this fall. So that is about it! I just wanted to say hi and tell you that I think your story is amazing and I know God is all over it. Have a great day!

Oh suz... I am so sorry that you are hurting so...I have seen belly belts that you can get that might help on the back pain.. They don't look like much but they might be able to ease it a bit.I never used one so I am not sure how well they work but I thought I would just throw that out there...On a side note: I wanted to give you this link. I LOVE THIS MAG AND WEBSITE... I recommend it to all mommies to be and are. Their things are a little high but there are many things here that I have not seen anywhere else..Hang in there and you look GREAT!!! THANKS FOR SPEAKING YOUR HEART... Your amazing! Luv Yah!--Jo and Fam

I got here through the Julian's site and I found another couple that had quads in 2000 - the website is very detailed and I thought it could be a good resource for you - http://www.geocities.com/leedesch/ . Hope your back pain eases!

Hi Suzanne!

Congrats on having quads! I love the t-shirt. You are handling things much better than I did when I found out about the quints! I didn't tell very many people for the first three weeks and I couldn't talk about it without crying for at least the first two weeks. Thanks for posting on my blog--I would love to keep in contact with you. If you want to email me directly, just click on the "contact us" link on our website: www.wilkinsonquints.org

Hey Suzanne,
This is Hope Huckeba (from Harding). I just wanted to let you know that I am praying for your growing family! I am finishing my master's in nurse midwifery, so I am constantly studying all things pregnancy. I am obviously no expert, but if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. :) A lot of the patients I work with find relief from back pain with the belts that go under your belly. Anyway, congratulations to you and your hubby and God bless you guys through this exciting journey!! -Hope (hopehuck@yahoo.com)

Hi Suzanne, you don't know me, but my sister, Marty Hill, went to Harding with you (I graduated from HU in '99). I told my sister about your blog and pregnancy and she has let a ton of people know about it. We are praying for a healthy pregnancy! I have one little girl and am expecting another baby in the fall. I cannot imagine having 4 babies in my belly! You are already demonstrating such grace and faith. You will be an excellent mommy. Oh, and if you like to read, Karen Kingsbury (a Christian novelist), is a really good author. It might help when bedrest starts.

So this is so extremely random, but I want to comment anyway. My sister, Kelly Julian, graduated from Harding in 2001. She had a baby in August that had some difficulties so she set up a blog for him to spread the word to pray. She puts up links to other blogs of other people that need prayers and she has added yours recently, sooo I check yours about every day now and I don't even know you, haha. I am praying for you and your 4 precious babies! But I was looking through your posts from way back and I saw on one where you said that nursing school was one of the hardest things you've done in your life!! I'm in nursing school right now at Harding, AND in Jackie Harris' Acute clinical, so when I saw that you put that I was like "Ahhh I'm not alone". It made me feel better!! So, like I said, very random but just wanted to say something about it. I think I've probably written a book by now. But I am praying for yall and I look foward to checking your site :)

Hey, I am kind of embarrassed to tell you this but, I had extreme back pain! I went to a chiropractor..only helped for a day and my OBGYN said to just use heat and baths and he said no baths and put cold packs on....does not feel near as good! I then got massages...they helped while they were in the process. Really, the thing that had the best effect was acupuncture! I know it sounds crazy but I was desperate, i tired the brace too....it helped the longest but the pain was still there but for me it was not as bad. You have to go more than once but, it helped for me. This is just my testimony...quads is a whole different ball game!

Suzanne,
Melissa (Norman) Curtin let me know about your site and I was so excited to read through it! I love to keep up and pray for those that I know. I was Leigh Moore when you would have known me, from Waco and Jess (my sis) is your brother's age I think. Anyway, you remember all of the many Moore sisters and I spread it to all of them and my parents! They were all very excited for you and your sweet parents. Like someone else said, you are showing so much grace and faith already, you will do just wonderfully! You and your husband and sweet "little bundles" will be in out thoughts and prayers. Have Fun!!!

LOVE the shirt! I don't think you need to be warning people...yet. Maybe in another month or two!

I can't believe our bellies are the same size - but yours is very tan compared to mine that's been hiding from the North Carolina winter.
