Our Newest Obsession...

...Climbing Into the Toy Box!

Yes, the quads are fascinated (especially Ben and Savannah) with dumping all of the toys out and sitting in the bins to play. I have several minutes of video footage on my home computer...I don't know why it cracks me up to no end. I can always tell when they are fighting over the bin---Sav has a blood curdling scream and Benny just has this loud, consistent whine.

I snapped some photos of the daily occurrence this morning:

"Yah right, Boo Bear!---Mama ain't buying that innocent face!"

Ben: "But I was here FIRST! I'm NOT moving!".....Sister is getting a weeeeee bit ticked off...

Ben is all smiles, even stopping to wave at the camera, while Sav continues to fight for position

I guess you can tell who won, gloating in his victory?......Silly....silly babies

So, I'm checkin up on all my quad sista blogs this morning with the laptop sitting high on the back of the sofa where the little ones cannot reach quite yet (I know...against my better judgement)...I feel this grubby little hand lifting up my shirt in the back and gently pushing in the fat that resides in my "love handles". Ethan is absolutely fascinated at the pudgy pale flesh that bounces back into position. He smiles at me, lets out a little giggle and continues to poke and prod...he thinks it is hilarious and by now, I am laughing so hard that I can't see straight! I just happened to have my camera nearby to catch the little gremlin in the act...so proud of himself!

What is up with the fascination of the "love handles," or as I like to call it my "muffin top!" :) My youngest just started doing the same thing and it cracks him up to see my...ahem...fat bounce back and forth - GROSS!!!

Cute, cute pictures too!

Love it! So typical too. Seems like all kids would rather play with the box (or toy bin) rather than the toy. Maybe you need another bin or 2 or 3 or 4....

Thanks for brightening my day! If you are in town - McMoms is having their Christmas meeting on Thursday evening. Want to come?

Suzanne, your kids are too adorable. I love Savannah's big, beautiful eyes - so expressive.

My sister and I used to climb in our toybox just like this when we were little. I don't know what was going through our minds the first time, but I can imagine Ben and Savannah looking at each other like, "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Makes me smile just thinking about it.

Those photos of them fighting for a spot in the toy box were so funny. Exactly what I needed this morning.

Sheesh! You'd think they'd had enough of "fighting for space" in the womb! Crazy kiddos!

2 Posts in 1 Day! Yeah, My Quad Sista is BACK in my 'PUTER.

PS I've witnessed her IN PERSON, peeps. There ARE NO handles, no squish, nothing....E must have a fascination with skinny skin. =)

Suzanne, Sam is forever lifting up our shirts in the front or the back to get a peek and a poke at the skin underneath. Sometimes he'll even rest his little head on your tummy or back. If it wasn't so dang cute...

That Ben...he is one funny little guy. He always cracks me up! I completely 2nd the Murray Crew--although I haven't actually seen you in person, I'm not thinking their really is much to poke and prod. :-)

With 4 in the house, one has to fight for their position sometimes! Ben's face when he won he priceless, poor Sav!
You need to sit in the playpen to use the computer, put them outside the playpen and then all are happy!

This is just precious!! You have the most adorable kids!! Thanks, I really needed a pick me up today. That just makes me laugh.

I don't know what the fascination is, girl. Sometimes I wonder if Jacob is the only one who does that. He loves to push on my flabby tummy. Sometimes he blows raspberries on it. Makes me feel very chubby even though I lost all of my baby weight and do tons of crunches/ab workouts. Oh well!

Suz - I am sure that I am the millionth person to tell you how amazing you are (but I will tell you anyway!) I know your life probably just seems normal to you, but it truly is inspirational for the rest of us. You are raising those 4 adorable children, have a beautiful marriage, and have such a positive attitude (laced with sarcasm, which I love) through everything. Hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving and early Merry Christmas!

Hi Suzanne! Just wanted to tell you I love your blog! I've been popping on here from time to time since I found out I was pregnant with my twin boys. I can't tell you how many times I have felt defeated by sheer exhaustion only to realize you're doing it with two more than me. You are an inspiration to all of us tired mommies!! Your kids are just absolutely adorable in every way! God bless!!

Hey Suz, I’ve never commented before but I’m Adriane’s cousin (Austin’s) wife. Anyways, my friend has a bow business and I wanted to send you the link since I know how you love them on your sweet little Savannah! Don’t worry, she sells Aggie bows too, they just aren’t posted yet! ;) I looked for an email address somewhere but couldn’t find it so I’ll just leave it here with the comments. Your blog is awesome and your babies are SO cute!

So funny...I love how Ben was all kicked back in the toy bin. :-) They are so cute.
Let me tell you, I am 35 weeks pregnant w/number six, so you can imagine the size of my belly. Seth, my #5-who's almost 2, loves to raise up my shirt and slap my belly...cracks him up! :-)

Hi! I have been watching your blog ever since I found out I was pregnant with quads in August. I can't tell you how much help it has been. I literally check it each week to see what was going on with you at the same time during your pregnancy. I am 26 and these are our first babies as well. Your children are adorable and it is such a comfort to see them doing so great. My blog is www.garrettquads.blogspot.com. I've just started it because it became too hard to keep everyone updated over email. Thanks for all of the information and entertainment while I'm on bedrest!

Oh PS I know you don't know me but I have been "blog surfing" lately, you know, looking at peoples' lists of blogs they read and reading the ones that sound most interesting to me.

haha. reminds me of when my kids were tots and presents. they care more about the wrapping than the fun toy inside. your quads are adorable!

Suz, I am fairly new to your blog - only been reading for about a month now. But that picture with Ben waving at the camera while Sav is screaming is priceless. He just looks so darn proud of himself. Very cute!
