Celebrating with the Steeces

Here are more pics from the holidays spent in Austin with the Steeces. We had SO much fun and these little boogers are getting SO BIG!

A little bit of holiday fun before opening presents (Dan, Dani, Ed, Suz, Joe). Love the fun hats and flashing necklaces from Kate!

I often wonder what it would have been like to sit the babies upon Santa's lap...Would they cry? ... stare? ... smile? ... scream?

Well...I think we now have a good idea!
Can't you just see the absolute TERROR on Ethan's face!!! Poor guy, I kinda felt bad for laughing so hard ;)

I LOVE this picture! It is right when I handed Savannah her first new babydoll! She was so excited!

Sav immediately pulled her in and started to hug her & pat her back like a sweet little mommy! It is amazing how gentle she is with "baby"...it just comes naturally with baby girls (at least in our household).
BTW, the baby is a great way to teach the kiddies about eyes, ears, nose, etc. I noticed within hours after the introduction of the baby, each child played with it and would point to a body part on the doll--then point to their own. It was SO neat to see!

I LOOOOVE this candid pic of the different faces while we were trying to get a good pic with Grandpa and Grandma! Especially Drew & Grandpa's faces, Ethan's face..and Ben's black eye!

Its a keeper, folks!

And my BIG girl with her big girl piggie tails! HOLY COW- they are growing up waaaaay too fast right in front of my eyes!

Oh, I also added the "Follow This Blog" button to the left...I would LOVE to visit with you guys and see my blogger buddies who check in with us from time to time! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

I'd be scared of that Santa too. Maybe if there is a more friendly looking one, he may respond better :D

I have been meaning to ask you for a few weeks but was so busy with holiday fun, so here goes. I was wondering who you used for the crainal bands for the quads. My youngest just had leg braces put on by a company that does all sorts of things like that, but I wasn't too thrilled with them. Woud you reccomend the place you uesd? Also on a side note, I have a niece named Savannah and we call her savvy or sassy or sassy frass. I just love that name and all the fun nick names that go with it. Our poor girls nick name is chucky monkey! lol

awww..how cute is Savannah with the baby doll? My daughter LOVES her doll that she got too - she feeds it a bottle and pushes it in the stroller. Hopefully she'll be as sweet to the new baby brother of sister that will be in our home in a week or two!!

My little girl has the same baby doll but I can't get her to love on it for nothing. I think she is going to be a tom-boy because she likes Star Wars stuff and electronics. Silly girl.

Your babies are precious as always!

i don't have a daughter but my son's best friend for the first two years of his life was a girl and it was so neat to see the gender differences. she loved and mothered the baby doll while my son threw her across the room like a football. hehe!

I, too, have been following your blog for a long time but not sure that I've ever commented! I went to school with Brad & Jen Murray and found your blog through theirs back when you were pregnant with your quads and I was pregnant with my youngest (born 12/19/07). It's been so neat to see your babies grow! Thanks for sharing them with us! Your entries are always so fun & upbeat!

I am one of those blog stalkers who doesn't know you but I have been amazed by your story! I have a 15 month old little girl who I adore and it makes me often wonder how you handle 4!!! You are so positive about it too - I love that. By the way - I got pregnant on Clomid too - but had only 1 precious baby. Makes me nervous to use it again knowing your story!

Oh my goodness, such precious faces. I bet this Christmas was so fun with the babies. Sav and her sweet doll. She's a new mommy! I know you are happy to be able to get out more this RSV season instead of being cooped up in the house all the time. Next Christmas will be even more fun. Thanks for sharing all the beautiful pictures. I come to your blog to start my day off good.
