My Little Girly Girl

As I was going through the quads' closets and drawers this weekend, cleaning out all of the 12 month clothes---there were some outfits that were "borderline"---you know: on the fence between fitting perfectly, and Mommy MAKING it work for a couple more months!

So, I wanted to try each outfit on Savannah and QUICKLY found out that Little Miss Wee LOVES playing dress up like you wouldn't believe! With my mom as my witness: Savannah would try on each outfit and then proceed to parade around the room, WAVING to my mom with this prissy look on her face! We were DYING laughing! The whole time Sav was trying on outfits, her brother Ben was throwing a FIT because HE wanted to try on outfits TOO! (NO JOKE!) So, I snapped some photos of our fun, rainy afternoon yesterday.

Savannah in her little Ladybug Tutu that she wore at her 1st Birthday Party last year. (You can click HERE for the website--Sara is amazing!)

She proudly strutted around in her feisty little outfit...reminding me of a peacock with its feathers on display!

She played us a nice beat on her drum set...

...and even stopped for a quick pony ride, checking to make sure her hair bobs were still in place.

And Ben....ahhhh Ben....

What are we going to do with you? Mr. Jealous was finally happy and content once we stripped him down into some summer shorts. (It was 40 degrees outside, mind you) I say it all the time, but the boy cracks me UP!

Sweet Savannah---you are God's gift of a perfect little doll for Mommy to dress up! You bring so much joy to my life. I love you SO much.

(Oh, and the chairs in the last post were from The Land of Nod!--Highly recommended!)

I found your blog through Serious.Life magazine. You have got 4 little cuties! I have 5 kids, but I can't imagine 4 at once! I thought my twins were hard! Love the tutu! We just had a dress up party with my twin girls(who are just 2 weeks older than your 4!), nothing better than a girl in a tutu!

I just bought a bunch of spring clothes for my twins the other day. Sarah was so excited as she looked through them all and wanted to wear them all right then! I finally let her try something on that night while changing into her PJs and then she was mad that she had to take it off to put her PJs on! such girls!

I can see they are keeping you so busy now. The chairs in the last post are adorable. We had a little chair when our 2 were smaller and they loved it. I always try and make clothes stretch just that extra month or two, although I have someone to hand them down to, #1 son to #2 son.
Glad to see you were also able to get them outside time in the other post. Exploring is such fun and opens up such a world of imagination to all who partake of it.
You are doing a fab job and it is fun to catch up with what the crowd are doing.

awww - is she adorable or what?! I just wanted to say, I have 4 b, 1 girl (b/b/g trips + 2 b) and my girl, despite having 4 brothers, is just as girl as girly can be - always has been! And she's 10 now. Your all girl will probably stay that way too. Isn't is wonderful?!

I love her proud little dance. Cute outfit. I remember my toddlers and trying to clean out clothes, see what still fit, etc. What a big JOB for a quad mom! I'm glad Sav was so cooperative.

Hi - I have been following your blog for a while. I found it through a couple of other blogs that I read. In your previous post with lots of prayers I saw you mentioned if there is any one that needs a prayer to let you know. Well, I have one and I know that a lot of people read your blog.

My cousin's 6-year-old little boy was just diagnosed with a brainstem tumor. They removed as much as they could but had to leave some. His caring bridge site is http://caringbridge.org/visit/treytonmartz. Please pray! The power of prayer is amazing - Treyton is a one and a million little boy and could use everyone's thoughts and prayers! He is so strong and fighting really hard. I greatly appreciate it!
