Today we attended our first NICU reunion at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, TX (We missed last year's reunion to attend a retirement celebration for my Aunt Judy). It was very cool. I must say...as we pulled up to the hospital, my mind was flooded with thoughts of my babies, fighting to grow and develop in the NICU...{tear}. It is just amazing how far they have come and how many people have been a part of their lives! God's blessings never cease to amaze me.
Savannah, Drew, Ethan, and Ben--making their grand entrance. (Thanks for the pics, Dad!)
Nurse Ashlie...I just love her to bits. This woman was a life-saver for us while the kids were in the NICU. She has such a compassionate heart and loves my kids like they were her own. She helped us feel comfortable and pretty much taught us how to care for our preemie babies. We LOVE her SOOOOO much and she will remain a friend for life!
NICU staff lovin' on the keeeedz
Tiff and her main man, Ben. Tiffany LOVES Benny and I remember how she would call him her "cry baby Ben"--yep, she pretty much had his personality nailed within one day of working with him!
Bop Drew on the head with a big balloon and he thinks its hilarious...go figure
Joe and Ethan
Granna and Savannah
A cute pic of Drew while eating out for lunch...this 'lil dude can put away some FOOD!
Good times! And a HUGE THANKS to all of the Harris hospital staff who have been a part of our lives in one way or another. We appreciate you more than you could ever know!

So Fun!! LOVE Drew's smile in that last pic!!! Y'all are such a sweet and beautiful family!! Luv Ya!
Oh, I am sure you just make their day!! How fun!
How neat it must have been for them to see the babies "grown up." My little boy (about your kids age) loves "boons" and everytime we go to walmart he thinks he needs to get one. LOL I LOVE it when you have a new post. I love seeing all the pictures of your little ones, they are soo precious!
Amazing! You are surrounded by wonderful people and are so blessed! I am so happy for you...oh and I have not forgotten to e-mail you that cake recipe! I'll get on that tonight. Sorry its taken FOREVER!

To the Steece family: Thank you so much for coming to the reunion today. You gave me such joy when I saw you all coming in!! The babies were amazing. They are all so beautiful and so are Mom and Dad. Thank you for letting me love on your babies. I am Sylvia Erwin the volunteer with the short dark hair and wearing the overalls. Love you all.
It was great to finally meet you today! We had a great time too. I also had that same feeling as we pulled up to the hospital.

You have such a beautiful family! You can tell there is lots of love. I am so happy for the Quads' good health, what a blessing!
Have a wonderful weekend!
how neat. I have been a lurker on your blog. I struggled with inferlity for 4 years and after several failed attempts on my 5th round of iui we were successful.
Yay! So fun!!! We still need to do this as well! I love that you got to eat OUT as a family...what a great day! Huggggs!!!
Suz! What fun! I really hope our NICU has one of these. I can't even imagine what you must have felt going back. The pictures are wonderful. You guys look great!
So amazing, praise the Lord for such a miracle to celebrate! I bet they were the hit of the party, as they should be! Love to you all, Mari
I bet they were thinking, "That party bus just rolled in!" when you all arrived in the Runabout. How awesome is that....not just for the Steece Family, but also for all of the staff who's knowledge and compassion contributed to your wonderful outcome.
Love you guys!
Moni
How fun! The NICU staff must have been thrilled to see you all roll in:)
I have been reading your blog for about 10 months now and never commented. It was passed onto me during my VERY difficult and scarey pregnancy (only one baby). When I was having bad days I would read your blog and gain strength that everything would be okay. Seeing how you have managed with 4 babies, inspired me and gave me strength. I now have a healthy 7 month old. I just wanted you to know you can inspire strangers with your words and photos.
Take care and bless your family.
Miraclehood at its finest.
HOW FUN IS THAT?
And Drew looks so grown up sitting like a big boy at the table.. Where did the time go?
LOVE YOU!
Hey Suz,
I am an avid reader and just really enjoy your blogs. Thanks for posting. I wanted to ask you how you began sampling items and if you are compensated for your time?
NICU nurses are true angels; some of the hardest working people I know! Thanks for sharing!
How did I not know about this??? How much fun that must have been. I have been wanting to go back and say hello to everyone and this would have been the perfect opportunity!
What a neat time....the kiddos are getting so growny.....thank you for keeping us posted! Check us out sometime.... www.thesmithsplustwo.blogspot.com
Blessings!!!
Its amazing how much a year and 7 months changes things! Your kids are adorable.
This is a random question, but you always have the cutest jewelry on.. where do you get it?
The kids are getting so big. It amazes me with each post how much more they are growing out of their baby looks. You can tell the NICU staff really has a heart for your children!
Wow! That must have been so exciting! What a flashback huh?
My husband and I are going through fertility issues right now.. just actually had our IUI this past Thurs. I was reading through your blog and came across this post.
