First Trip-O-the-Summer!

---WARNING...WARNING...PICTURE OVERLOAD!!!---

We haven't traveled with the quads since Christmas, so we were MORE than ready to hit that road once again. After battling DAYS of diarrhea with four 20 month old kiddies (4 red hineys and 1 exhausted mama), we packed them up and crossed our fingers that we wouldn't have any brown-blowouts on the drive (we didn't...thank you, Lord)...and headed down to Austin to visit the Steeces. We had a wonderful weekend--here are some pics!

FRIDAY AFTERNOON:

Mama & Ethan at Iguana Grill (our fav restaurant in Lakeway--on Lake Travis)

Uncle Ed & Sister Sav

Silly Uncle Dan, Ben-hi-meen, and Dids (Grandpa Steece)

Grandma Kate & Ethan

Dad and Drew (yes...the boys have some crazy hair going on these days...they need a visit with some scissors!)

Ben's silly face...puttin on a show for his Gpa

Sweet Drew

E gettin' tickled by Gma

Sav, showing me her prettiest smile (on command)

The proud bro & Uncle Ed. Eddie just recently received his Aggie ring!!! Congrats!!!

SATURDAY MORNING @ A PARK IN THE HILLS:

Ethan

Andrew

Ben

Savannah

Apparently Ben is going to be my little playground daredevil---climbing to the tops and trying to jump off...fearless.

Yin and Yang doing some swinging before we leave (Ethan in green, Drew in stripes)

SATURDAY AFTERNOON/EVENING AT VERDE'S MEXICAN PARRILLA (BEST KID-FRIENDLY PLACE I HAVE EVER, AND I MEAN EVVVVVVER- BEEN TO! IT WAS AMAZING!)

Ed and Ben

Savannah and Dan

Dani and Ethan

Drew checking out the big backyard amphitheater/play area

Dan lovin' on Ethan

Me & Sav

Precious pic of Dani, Ben, and Dan---they were swinging him and he loved it!

Grandpa and Ethan playin in the sun

Grandma lovin' on Drew

Drew LOVES being thrown in the air!

A gal after my own heart---couldn't put the chips and queso down!....."Who, me???"

Dani had never seen the trick that Joe taught Savannah a while back (I claim ZERO responsibility)...

Can't get enough of these smiles! (Drew)

Ethan munching away on some goldfish (Snack Traps are the best invention EVER!)

Dan and Joe pestering Ben

LOOOOONG weekend...the kids need a little time to adjust to life on the road again, but we had a wonderful time! If only I hadn't been greeted this morning with a diaper on the floor, poop in a crib, and a child- naked from the waist-down. Oh the joys of parenting!!! Happy Monday, peeps!

Hi, I'm new to your blog... I was asking on my blog for mamas with multiples and someone mentioned your blog. I hoped over... saw how adorable your family was and added you to my google reader! :)

Looks like you had a wonderful trip! I was born in Austin TX and have a lot of family there. It is a beautiful city!

As a former Cleveland, I totally approve of Joe's hat!

Your kids are so adorable, Suz. And the fact that you are able to take them out to eat is an amazing testament to your parenting skills. God chose wisely when he made you their mommy.

Ok, awesome pix of the quads (as usual)! They really are adorable! But since I have fashion on the brain right now, I have to know what kind of jeans are you wearing and where did you get those sunglasses? I love your style!

I know you don't know me, but I've been reading your blog for at least the past 6 months, maybe a little more. I've come to love your little family & can recognize which kiddo is which without the labels these days. We're from Texas, too, actually not too terribly far from y'all. My family is in a little town right outside of Tyler!

I just wanted to thank you for your blog. My 12 1/2 year old daughter LOVES babies, so I shared your blog link w/ her and she reads it from time to time to catch up on the cute little Steece quads. I know that your blog is always safe & 'clean'. And I know from comments you have made throughout that we share the same faith.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your life with my family. May God bless you!

So cute! It looks like you had a great time. My inlaws also live in Austin, but I had never heard of VERDE'S MEXICAN PARRILLA. We will definetely need to check them out the next time we are in town since kid-friendly is at the top of our list with 4 boys ages 1-6.

I'm so glad that you had a nice time down here in Austin. So you love the Iguana Grill...we love that place too and also the Oasis because they both overlook the lake....they have some incredible sunsets over the water but from some of the pictures I can tell just how low they are! Didn't know about the kid-friendly Mexican place so we will have to try it....thank you for the hint!

I found your blog through a friend and am ADDICTED! I sat down at my computer "just to check my email" when I put my 2 year old down for her nap....she's still asleep and I'm still sitting here! My husband and I are Aggies AND native Texans, but we're currently in NC.....living vicariously! Must admit...when I first found yall I was all, "Do I know them?"
Yall are so much fun and your babies are PRECIOUS. Just wanted to let you know how great it is to read your blog....will be checking back!

Man do your identical boys look COMPLETELY identical or what? How in the world do you tell them apart? They are going to be fooling their teachers in no time :)

Great post!

Suz, my best advice to you is "DUCK TAPE"! I remember the days of diapers and finding naked babies!! A word of warning, little boys like to pee everywhere!! Good luck!!
