LOTS to post!

A little teaser, if you will...

Joe and I just spent the most amazing weekend in:

with our buddies (and fellow quad parents) Conor & Gen McNulty, Brad & Jen Murray, and Chris & Mari Goerlich. We've gotten together 3 times now, and I miss them more and more every time the trip comes to an end! I'm working on a blog and uploading pictures. A HUUUUUUUGE thanks to Granna and Papa Hoag and Auntie Judy for watching the quads allll weekend long---definitely NOT an easy task!--and appeciated more than they could EVER know.

Also, we found out yesterday that little Savannah will be having surgery soon for her kidney issues. I'll will post more on that as well. Since we were in the neighborhood, we also stopped by Dr. Tabor's office (my maternal fetal specialist), the NICU, and Jones 3rd floor (Harris Methodist hospital) where I lived during the entire summer 2 years ago. I have some cute pics of the kiddies (Who, by the way, grew about 4 inches while Mom and Dad were away!)

Also, a clarification- our Birth Story blog will be on a link on the DHC website, which will be promoted in commercials that run during Baby Week...we are NOT featured in a television episode. (Sorry if that was confusing!)

Right now Mama is trying to keep up with loving on four, precious tots (it gets harder and harder to leave them!), giving Sav extra hugs, and loads of laundry & unpacking.

So glad you had a good time and made it back, safe and sound (well, maybe not "sound"....but you catch my drift). I'm sure the kids looked like teenagers after the weekend away!

Lots of love and prayers for Miss Prin. Keep us updated on surgery dates. The Graf Quads gotcha back and will be praying like crazy!

Love ya!

I'm sure it's nice to be able to get away with your husband, even though you have 4 kiddos! That's great that you can! How fortunate.

Also, I'm keeping Sav in my prayers! Poor baby!

I'm so sorry Savannah has to have surgery. I'm sure it's better to have it done now, while she's so young, than later. My son had surgery on his skull when he was 9 months old..his soft spot closed too soon. He was under for 9 hours and it about killed me. I wished they had knocked me out too. So..I know you'll be scared to death but Savannah is a strong girl and will do fabulous!

Knowing that you can be parents and still have a fun cool social life makes me want to get kids even more. How do you do it? Maybe I should get married first...
