Took My "aM-i-Nals" to the Zoo

and yes...I know I spelled it: "am-i-nals" for that is how my sweet babies currently say the word: "animals". Just can't quiiiiite get the "n" and the "m" switched around, bless their little hearts.

Lizzie and Chris and their precious cargo (Kinley and Madelyn) met up with the Steece Squad for a FUN-filled-SWEAT-fest at the zoo yesterday. YEEEE-friggin'-HAW, y'all! Sweatin' TEXAS style.

Two Sav-lovin' D.I.R's (diva's-in-training), practicing the highly skilled look of "psss-sha, I'm like totally cute and I totally know it!"

Kinley

Come along, lets go for a stroll (the rest of these pictures are courtesy of the EXTREMELY talented Chris Tarrant- Thanks CT!)

Our entourage of 6 kiddos in front of my favorite part of the zoo---the Texas Hill Country. SO beautiful.

No. Air. Flow. Must. Seek. Open Air. Immediately. Before I melt.

Now, come on...I know I'm sweating up a storm, but I can't smell THAT bad!

Mama Steece and her "pieces"

Hide-n-seek (LOVE this pic, Chris!)

Ben enjoying a classy snack break

And check back here tomorrow to find out what we did AFTER the zoo! (Many of you have already commented about it!)

We LOVE the Zoo too! I live in Memphis so we have a pretty awesome Zoo here. And with some unseasonably cool weather here we have gone quite a few times this summer. The Quads will be 2 soon..Can't believe it! They are so cute!

You have such cute kids - and I love your smile, you always look like you're having the time of your life. What a great gift to your kids for them to know their mom loves the time she spends with them!

Have a nice weekend.

I imagine the perfect place to head after a hot day at the zoo would be an ice cream shop! ;-)

My kids LOVE the zoo. I get asked at least 3x a week if we can go! We try to make it a few times each month. We're about due...its been 2 weeks since our last visit! haha!

Love the pictures! I bet people love looking at the quads and Liz's twins more than the animals. Much cuter! And I love it when babies can't say words exactly right. My kids called their belly buttons "umma umpa" for so long. To this day (and they are 8) my husband and I still say umma umpa when talking about belly buttons. When we got our dog, they were almost 3 and we named him Bonzo. They could not say that for anything so they called him C-so. Well, of course we still call the dog C-so and Bonzo. He'll respond to both. :)

I saw y'all at the zoo!!! I felt stupid to say 'hi' since I don't technically know you, but I was totally shocked when I saw y'all!! I had my 4 month old, mom, niece and nephew out at the zoo. :)
