My Favorite Food Is…

The kids brought home some papers from school this week and I thought they were hilarious and SO random (some not even true!). I am absolutely loving this age where I can ask them questions and write down their answers- like for birthday cards and whatnot. Grandparents, you will get a kick out of this…

Ben’s favorite food:

…chocolate chip cookies (I had made some homemade CCCookies to put in their lunches that day), strawberry yogurt, & hotdogs (not true- he usually won’t even touch them!)

Andrew’s favorite food:

IMG_0601-1 …goldfish, green yogurt (? never even had it! lol), & strawberry shortcake (referring to Savannah’s Strawberry Shortcake car that he is constantly trying to take away from her…they had even gotten in a fight that morning about it. so random)

Ethan’s favorite food:

…macaroni & cheese, chicken, & Mommy’s Heart Sandwich (awwww- I cut their sandwiches with a heart cookie cutter) All of Ethan’s favs were pretty accurate.

Savannah’s favorite food:

IMG_0603-1 …lemons (uh, okay? random), strawberry, grapes, and McDonalds…(yep, I confess- our kids get the occasional “Happy Meal” for special occasions- and are SUPER excited about them! Ha)

I seriously want to get one of those books where you keep track of all the funny things that your children say! Gotta love it.

Is there a book out there that you can buy where you write down all the funny things your kids say? That would be amazing! I just write everything down in a spiral notebook that I keep by my bed. Love your posting from yesterday too, btw.... have to look into that under eye cream! As a working mom of (just!) twins, I need A LOT of that cream, lol!

That is so funny. When my daughter was little, they did a project for mother's day where the teacher asked them to write down the answers to questions like "I know my mom loves me because..." Well, for that one my daughter wrote that she knew I loved her because I feed her. Random! I still have the little book they made and I still laugh when I think about that one answer.

Maybe you can make your own book with construction paper and yarn...

um, that's beyond adorable! And I love that Andrew said "Strawberry Shortcake!" Another bonus to having quads: 4 times the cuteness when it comes to school work!!!

Oh, and so sweet that you cut their sandwiches into hearts!! Something they'll remember for years :)

oh my goodness, those are fantastic! I am cracking up at the made up ones! I wanted to tell you that I just got one of those quote books, and it's called "My Quotable Kid." It's perfect! You have to get it! :) Happy weekend!

So I aksed my oldest what she thought of green youghurt and the 3 year old went to the fridge grabbed to youghurt container and said "duh mom" yeah green youghurt=the color of the container. My kids make me feel so smart, now to get the big kids off to school!

This is absolutely hilarious!
I could have picked Sav's out though. We girls have much more to say than the guys and she was more expressive! hahah!
I've enjoyed reading your blog since the 4 were still in the hospital!
God bless you SIX!

OK, that was really funny. I think i can relate as my goof ball kids write and say things like that and I will just question them to death about why they did it. just to kind of pick at them.

how funny! I love my kids' art work and things like this. My twins are almost 4 and the stuff they come up with is freaking hilarious some days!! The other day, my daughter was playing "house" at school and told everyone that "Mommy sleeps on top of daddy" agh!!!

So adorable! I love a peek inside little ones minds. My daughter made a Mother's Day craft for me once where she had to fill in the blanks on things about me - she said I was as pretty as a pony - ha ha! My son had to do the same thing a year earlier and said I was like a rainbow! Totally made me cry:) They are all so sweet and innocent, and yes...RANDOM too sometimes! My daughter just had a lesson on safety at school and told her teacher that her daddy left her home alone once to go to the donut store - WHAT????? Like we would ever do that...guess what I'll be explaining next week?:)!!!

Enjoy it all - it truly goes by fast - as I'm sure you've been told:)

I think that is so cute. An idea would be to make your own books but whatever you make them out of I would get everything laminated if you can. That way the book still looks nice when they are older. :) I think they will enjoy looking back on what they made when they are older. Prob. will laugh about a lot of it haha!

Yeah...I tried the heart shaped sandwich this year in our son's lunch. By the time they're 4, apparently heart shaped sandwiches aren't cool any longer... So, soak it up now!
