Disney On Ice

We recently had a WONDERFUL TIME at the Disney on Ice performance (Princess Wishes- hosted by Tinkerbell) in Waco, courtesy of Granna and Papa. It was a BLAST! (Drew, Ben, Ethan, Sav)

 

 

Naturally, our little Tink Tink Diva wanted to dress up for the show. (So nice to get a second use out of that Halloween costume! ha)

I love Andrew’s face in this picture---the boy loves ANYTHING that lights up and moves around. He is LOVING my Christmas décor, might I add…a little TOO much. Can’t keep his little paws off of it.

This was the entire cast during the finale! Very cool to see all of those beautiful princesses and their princes skating at the same time. (and of course, Tinkerbell in the middle!) The ending was complete with fireworks!

 

 

and the little guys couldn’t have been happier to wear their “fire-dragon” shirts (that are about 15 sizes too big) and “tinkerbell” shirt to bed that night. (B, E, A, S)

 

Don’t you just LOOOOOOVE Disney on Ice?!!! What fun~ to be able to share these experiences with the kiddies.

Life at 144 mph

Anyone else feel like life is going about 144 mph? Sometimes I feel like I cannot catch up…and with the holidays rapidly approaching, I fear that it is only going to get worse.

 

Don’t get me wrong---I absolutely LOVE my job. LOVE IT. I get such a rush from it. Helping others and being a Registered Nurse is a huge part of who I am…

 

…but at times, when I get home and stare at that huge laundry pile…or stare at that computer screen, knowing I haven’t blogged in over a week (EEEK!)…I just sigh (and then usually pass out on the couch out of sheer exhaustion).

 

NEED. MORE. TIME.

 

SO, it was like an answer to my prayers when BlogHer asked me to review a brand new laptop with the Intel® Core™ i5 processor. Finally, a product able to keep up with me and my SUPER FAST-PACED LIFE! It has cut down my time spent on the computer in half. Easily.

Aggie Date with Hubby

It had been a while since Joe and I had been on an actual date (not to mention that the kids and I had been gone all week!)---so we were thrilled to have a day full of one of our favorite past-times: Aggie Game Day Football! (thanks to Granna and Papa for watching the quads!)

 

 

The Ags played in Waco (my hometown) against the Baylor Bears. Our friends Adam and Katie joined us for the game and pre-game festivities. ;) LOVE THEM.

We figured out that Joe and I are so perfect for each other, because I am very similar to all of his guy-buds…and well, Joe…is very similar to all of my BFF’s!

 

 

 

 

The Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band- my favorite part of every game (I know, I know- my hubs is so disappointed)

 

 

It sure was cooooooooold---but we had a blast! And we loved getting to sit completely surrounded by other “Old Ags”. I’m pretty sure I saw Sheedy give an Aggie Grandmother a kiss after we scored.

A Trip to South Texas

Last Tuesday night after work, I headed home and threw clothes into a bag for me and the kids, traveled 1.5 hrs to Waco to pick up Papa, and then traveled 5 hrs to Brackettville, TX…..arrived at 3am! PHEWW! A whirlwind adventure, but SO worth it. I attended the funeral of a dear, sweet man: “Opa” and was able to love on lots of family that I rarely get to see.

We visited our Aunt Patsy and her Winter Wonderland House (and managed to NOT break anything! Woo hoo):

And topped off the trip with a classy movie- “Megamind” (hilarious)…with our dear Auntie Juju.

 

 

We spent the weekend in Waco for the Texas A&M vs. Baylor football game…had a blast! Will post pics tomorrow.
