The Steece 4 Turn 6!

We always try to do something special, just the 6 of us, around the kids bday. So~ the weekend before the big day, we surprised them with a trip to the Rainforest Café in Grapevine, TX!

It had been their last day of Vacation Bible School…they were a wee bit wired on sugar and pure exhaustion!

We have always been huge “birthday people” in our family…so, I absolutely LOVE going all out for the kids on their bday (even if there are moving boxes EVERYWHERE!). I mean…there are 4 of them…you kinda have to. This pic was taken while the kiddos slept their last night in our house. (sniff, sniff)

Before we started the insanity of moving, we squeezed in a quick, small bday party with our BFFS at Chuck-E-Cheese’s.

Wow…I look absolutely HAGGARD! I wasn’t going to put this one in here…but it’s a memory. This was one crazy, exhausting summer, folks!

A HUUUUUUGE thanks to my Daddy and Mom (& JuJu) for watching the quads ALLLLLLLL weekend so we could pack and move…it was a whirlwind 48 hours, but it got done thanks to these guys.

 

Also~ please be praying for my sweet Mama. This picture was taken less than 24 hours after she had surgery & biopsies taken to determine what type and stage of cervical cancer that she has. (newly diagnosed). ROUGH, rough month for our family.

 

In other news, we are all moved in! Pics to follow shortly. I’m pretty sure we’ll be living in boxes from here to eternity… but the new pool makes it all a bit more bearable. (*wink*)
