Gorgeous Hospital Pics....HA! ;)

I start by saying, let us just look past the fact that Suz is: make-up-less, beautifully pudgy ;), looks like she is wearing black eyeshadow underneath her eyes, pale as a ghost, with the splotchiest (yes, I might have just made up my own word) reddish skin ever....and these are some AWESOME pics! ;)

"Help! I can't see my feet! (or my legs for that matter!)"

The twinks...pointing at my belly, probably thinking: "Thank GOODNESS its not me!" And also drooling at the thought of loving on four precious little babies ;)

My proud Papa...look at him just beaming! ;) I'm sure its hard for him to see his baby girl in the hospital.

One of my best friends since childhood came to visit me yesterday. Isn't Lauren so pretty? It was so good to see you woman!

More pics to come, but my camera battery ran out of juice. (I wonder why? Its not like I've been playing with it out of boredom and taking tons of pictures...)

It was SO good to see you, too! I was thinking right after we left that I didn't want to leave! I miss you and wish I could see you more! I will be up there soon with James, though! :) I can't tell you how good it was to see your amazing positive attitude and outlook. You are such a blessing to me as a friend and everyone around you!

I was at the same stage you are at a little over a year ago. I posted on your website awhile back and I've been keeping up with you and your progress since then. I found out about your situation through a good friend of mine that knew you at Harding. I had triplets last June. They will be a year on Thursday! :) It goes by too fast!!! I was on bedrest for 7 weeks...in the hospital for the last 4. I can honestly say that I sympathize with what you're going through. I had one less baby, which I know is much less...but there was still a full house in my tummy. I was in a "fender bender" at 24 weeks, which complicated things, but I made it to 31 weeks!!! YEAH!!! Just letting you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I know this time is so tough, physically and emotionally, but we're praying that God will give you the strength to hold on as long as you can and that He will keep those babies right where they are at. If you get bored and want to have a "sneak peak" into my world, you can look at my babies (www.ourbabynews.com/morrow). I was always looking for things to do while in bed. (We have 2 girls and 1 boy.) You can see what you have to look forward to. :) It is soooo.... much fun!!! Love, Anna, Ben, Abbie, Bailey, and Noah Morrow :)

You are just belly, girl! Your arms and legs are still so skinny:) I'm so glad that Lauren was able to visit you! It looks like a nice hospital room you are staying in. I love the updates!

Congrats on hitting the 24 week milestone!!!! You are doing great! I am sorry you had to be admitted to the hospital, but it will all be worth it in the end. I had to laugh at your statement that you dream of running and lifting weights. I have the same dreams. It is amazing how fast everything changes. Right now I am just looking foward to the day when I can get up to go the the bathroom without getting terribly out of breath!

Hang in there! You are not allowed to have yours before I have mine!

You are too cute! So glad you have lots of people visiting. It sure helps the time go by. I guess the haircut was perfect timing huh? I was lucky enough to endure sponge baths and shampoo in a bag while I was in the hospital because they wouldn't let me take a shower...hopefully you are getting some shower privileges! Keep smiling girl and I love the updates. Almost to 25 weeks:)

Glad to hear there's no preeclampsia - that's a blessing! And I'm amazed to hear that gestasional diabetes could actually be a good thing for the babies - I knew it typically caused babies to be bigger and as soon as I read your reasoning for why it could be a blessing I was like "Wow - that's very cool"! Keep up that positive attitude - you're a trooper!

Ok - so I'm officially checking your webpage almost daily. Just so you know, we're still praying for you in Sacramento. Hooray for NO preeclampsia! And, tomorrow is 25 weeks! You're looking great!

I have just been looking through your pics and you look so beautiful! I love your hair and your gorgeous belly pics. You don't even look like you have any stretch marks yet - that's amazing! I'm thinking of you sitting in hospital, and at almost 27 weeks, your chances are increasing so much each day! All the best honey, what an awesome gift you will be receiving soon!
It was lovely to meet you.

You look so cute!! When I was 24 weeks with quads (that I did not know I was carrying, I was 26 weeks when they found my little one hiding I was HUGE!! But when I came out of the OR I could actually see my feet at the end of the bed. So there is light at the end of the tunnel. You are all still in my prayers. Keep up the good work.

There are very few ladies when prego that make it look as good as you do. I am glad to see that you are not in a peeker aka Hospital gown. I hope all is well and progressing at a snail pace for those babies---snug as a bug in rug (your womb). I sure do miss yah and wish I could have rubbed the belly too. Hang in there lovely lady and spend as much time as you can with your hubby. Board and card games are the best. Especially if you make it a themed game for couples...(just for you two.) As always you are lifted in prayers. I find this one verse very comforting and is a great reminder when things get rough. 1 Peter 1:13-16
Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. 14As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy"---Your body is not only the temple of your Lord but is an incubator for your babies inorder for them to mature in God's time.... You are doing 5times the duty from just being you.... WOW
Only you can let Satan in your mind, for you hold the keys to what is put in there. YOU are an amazing women who is setting a great example of how keep those thoughts and emotions of the devil out... WOW you inspire me to be better. THANKS SUZ... I think I tell more and more people about your situation and blogsite then I do anything else these days. I hope that is ok...Well, tell Ju and Jane I said HI and miss them too. WITH ALL MY LOVE, JoLee and Family

Hi, I have some ideas.

People who want to bring you food can bring you delicious berries.

Oatmeal promotes breastmilk production, and one serving for breakfast daily is great for an anti-diabetes and anti-constipation diet. If you mix a bit of flaxmeal in, you'll also get good oils to help with your postpartum state of mind.

See whether you can use an insulin pump for the remainder of your pregnancy for better control.

Hey Suzanne!! I love your pictures!! I just wanted to tell you that I saw this thing on Discovery Health last night and this mom was carrying quads, and she had 2 sets of identical twins! Anyway..she carried them to 29 weeks, I think longer than that is better, but I still think 29 weeks is good! So I thought that might give you some encouragement! :) Well good luck! You are definitely in my prayers!

You DO look amazing! That stomach is pretty marvelous. I cannot believe you look that good. I cannot imagine your discomfort. 25 weeks is pretty cool too. My friend delivered at 25 weeks, and her son is healthy normal and maybe a little too active. So things are getting better and better for you, hope they keep cooking. You have such a positive attitude!
