Catching up on last week

(Sandi, my faithful northern blog reader & friend of Beth's, these next two pics are dedicated to you, my dear! ;)

Joe's aunt, uncle, and cousin from Minnesota made a special stop to our house on their way back home to love on the quads! It was SO much fun getting to hang out with you guys! Love you!

Brad, Andrew, John, Savannah, Ben, Beth, and Ethan

And look at these crocs that they bought the quads...HOW CUTE ARE THEY??!! Can't wait for the little ones to wear these! (definite future picture) They are adorable, thank you so much!

Last Wednesday I was able to go love on the Gerwer quads while friends were watching MY quads! Can I just tell you how fun it was to hold iddle biddy baby quads and feed them again? Brought back many memories! (However, the babies are not that little anymore! They are growing and doing GREAT!) Happy Belated Due Date Gerwer Babies!

In other news and recent events...Ever wonder what you would do if you just found out that a tornado had touched down minutes away from your house? with quads? and a dog?
MASS CHAOS! (The tornado did no damage, no one was hurt- thank God)
AND- Thank God Liz hadn't left yet...let me just say, IT WAS NOT FUN. Four screaming babies in a tiny spot in the closet under our stairs. I couldn't pass up taking a picture--even if my back fence was about to blow down...seriously) Shiloh was cute and being protective, she never left their side. And yes, the closet received a much needed make over after that incident. Next time we will be much more organized and SAFE!

Speaking of Liz...INCREDIBLE FRIEND! Liz and her hubby Chris, offered to come over and watch the quads so Joe and I could go on a date! We are MORE than beyond blessed to have them in our lives! We bought some clothes for the kiddies and went to eat at a restaurant in downtown Fort Worth--we had been given a gift certificate when the babies were in the NICU to go out to eat before they got home!--yah, we JUST used it 7 MONTHS LATER!! Ha (Thanks to the Hursh fam!)

Here are some pics of us luvin on the babies before we left!

LOVE this pic of Joe and Ethan

seriously....your quads are the 2nd cutest quads in the world...(next to ours of course:):)!) i LOOOOOOVE their smiles! BEAUTIFUL! i understand the fear of being alone with quads, a dog, (a cat and a dog for us), and a tornado coming...that happened a few times this year...YUCK! better safe than sorry...we hung out in our basement a few times:)
you would be proud of me...i took my first walk with the kids today BY MYSELF!! it was great! i love walking with other people of course but it was a spur of the moment idea to take them out in the beast...and it went great! i just had to share that with someone i know would appreciate it!
luvin ya guys!

Just wanted to tell you that your blog makes me smile every time you post! My husband and I have a 1 year old baby girl and are continually in awe of how gracefully you are handling four! We are in Waco, so not too far, but I have often wished I were closer so I could lend a hand when needed! May God continue to bless your family!

They are getting so big! I can't believe. They are so adorable. I'm glad your closet will hold all of them! My only safe place in my old house, when my four childrn of all ages and sizes were younger, was the half bath under the stairs. REALLY crowded!

I have gotten hooked on your blog since I first saw it thanks to a friend. My son was born July 19, 2007 so I look to you for inspiration. It is hard being a Mommy to one little guy, I can't imagine 3 more. You and Joe are so cute and you seem like wonderful parents. the babies are so cute! I wish I could come over and love on them. You can truly tell you love your kiddos so much! Congratulations on such a beautiful family. You are truly blessed.
P.S. I adore Shiloh - my favorite picture is her in the pile of boppys. My golden retriever loves our boppy.

I've been reading for ages, but never commented. But I just have to say, you guys are just such a beautiful family. All those gorgeous smiles. And you look fantastic, by the way. I know coming back from multiples pregnancies can be tough (and I only have twins). It's not like there's a ton of time for doing your hair, or working out, etc...But you look great.

Suz,

I have been following your blog for quite sometime now and the latest pictures are absolutely Beautiful. If the twins looked anymore like Joe, I don't know what I would do. Have you noticed the resemblance? They are all beautiful babies and you are one blessed mamma. Thank you for sharing your family with us.

Beautiful babies...Suz just wondering who the babies favor more. I definitely see mama in Ben. The others I'm torn. Sav looks so good...how has she been feeling? They are all in my prayers. Glad you got to have a date night. They are a must.

The babies are just adorable! And you look amazing, too - I thought losing baby weight after carrying one was hard, but you've done an outstanding job!! FYI - Good Morning America is having a cute baby contest (I'm entering my sweetie), and your cuties would be a great submission! You can check it out at www.babytalk.com - you can enter multiples as "one child." Keep the blogs coming!
