A Classy Steak Dinner

During our quad-couple trip to Lake Tahoe a few weeks ago, we ended Saturday night with a classy steak dinner grill-out on our patio. It was an amazing ending to such a wonderful week with friends! And to top it all off, as we were pouring A1 sauce onto our plates...we happened to notice something very peculiar......an odd thing to have on a bottle of steak sauce for sure...

Click on the picture and read very closely...

I love how Joe summed it up in an email to our friends:

The A-1 bottle…I don't even know what to say other than "somebody" already had
this all planned out for us and it was His way of saying "you're welcome"

Awwwwww (tear)!.....There is no such thing as coincidence! I love you guys!

Well, you know how I feel about coincidences from reading my blog...they are nonexistent! I couldn't stop staring at the bottle of A-1...seriously, my mouth was open and the first thing I thought was that Joe had done a really great graphics job on it! Ha! That is a great ending...one for the movies!

WOW, that is pretty amazing. What a cool moment for all of you to see that together! And you are absolutely right, there are no "coincidences"!

Perfect, Divine intervention I would say.
As Carol Burnett used to say " So glad Y'all had that time together"

Yep, Joe summed it up perfectly! Who would even imagine something like that! Awesome....

One more thing. Who is that odd little man sitting by the steak sauce? Becareful he looks shady!

I have been reading your blog for just a few weeks. When I found it, I sat up until after midnight reading your story from the very beginning!
Several things keep me coming back...
I had a singleton child in 2000 born at 29 weeks and I feel like I connect with you in medical issues.
Most importantly... Your love of GOD!
When I saw the A-1 bottle and the e-mail from Joe.... I had to write and saw, WOW O WOW! Ye, God had this planned all along!!!! How cool!
God is amazing and I love reading blogs that see these God moments and Praise Him because of those moments!
Woo Hoo!!!!
Happy Wednesday!

That is really cool. I hope you guys saved the bottle or label.

You seriously make me want to have quads so I can be in "the club." I want to adopt myself into your too cool new group of friends, but alas, I only have two kids, and one at a time at that! This post begs the question... who brought an action figure on your holiday away from kids???

Are y'all planning on attending any Texas A&M games with the kiddos this fall?

My first thought was... A-1 on a steak... aren't you from Texas! What an AMAZING thing to see especially for all you special couples. God is a very funny person who really loves us and shows us in so many ways!
Thanks for sharing!

That was too funny!! And yes, I love what Joe wrote...very true! I'm so glad you all got to go on the trip to LT!! I've been visiting all 4 sites to get as much of the story as I can :-)

Amen to that! Everything was so amazing about that trip and the A-1bottle just topped it off. We probably would not have noticed the bottle if we hadn't had to look away from the blindingly clean table.

Wow! That is too cool. I mean, what are the odds? Then again, what are the odds of 4 cool Mommies delivering 4 precious babies and all meeting up and having such a special bond? Only GOD knows... *wink, wink*

Suz - OH MY GOSH - ok - this weekend I was making an EASY dish in the microwave and it calls for A1 sauce - so sent the hubby to the store and he brought back the new flavor... when I read the bottle I laughed and SERIOUSLY thought of you because you are the only person I "know" who has quads (sorry to use "know" so losely).

Anywhoo, You HAVE to send a pic of your quads to the A1 company... they all definately have 4 BOLD personalities!

Always a blessing to read about your adventures. Thanks for the great example and for sharing mommyhood with all of us!

suz, i have a question:
i read your blog faithfully, i just love your family and outlook on life:) i notice your videos are so great and clear. i am on the lookout for a camcorder (i have a little boy who is 5 months old and i am missing all the great moments i want captured!!). what do you use and what would you recommend? i trust your judgement because you tape so much. i want to be able to watch the video on a DVD. i was looking at the hard drive cam's, but don't know if you can burn to a CD or not... thanks in advance!

I sense a number theme here, 4! Four couples, all parents of quads! That bottle is definitely a sign! How cool is that for all of you to be there and see that! Very neat!

Tonya Staab said...

HA, love that bottle. How cool. It was made for you.

Kelly said...

I was at my parents' house for dinner the other night and they had the same bottle. I had to laugh.

I just found your blog through Arkansas Rachel's (McCoys Mama). You are an inspiring woman! I am looking forward to checking in and seeing how life with the Quads is going! You and your hubby sound like terrific parents! It can be tough having just one little one, but 4 all the same age?! God sure does choose the right parents!

God bless your beautiful family!

That is crazy!!! I can't believe how much the babies have grown! They are all so beautiful!!
