You are my SUNSHINE...

...my only sunshine! Happy Friday! Need a smile???

Drew has the nickname of sunshine (one of the nicknames I had back in high school!). This little guy can brighten anyone's day. When the other 3 are walking around giving Mama a hard time, it is almost always Andrew--who comes running up to me with a big grin and a hearty laugh!

I was able to capture him counting to 10 this morning! (Try not to be distracted by Sav crying for her blanket---that made it all the way down to Ethan's crib on the end!)

Coming up: Savannah is having surgery on Monday at 8am (a cystoscopy with stent removal). They are removing the ureteral stent that was placed during her kidney surgery a couple of months ago. It will be a relatively quick procedure, but she will receive general anesthesia and will have to spend some time in recovery.

Her glasses came in today! Can't wait to post pics of the lil' Diva in her new specs...so cute.

Hope Savannah does great with the stints. =) Drew is awesome and brilliant! Thanks for answering my question about the twins. Many years ago I had a boss with identical boys and I was one of the few that could tell them apart. But only if they were together--- one was a little heavier and his name was his mother's family name --- all "healthy people" so it was easy to apply a little name association with that. LOL
Anyway, I figured there had to be some small way to tell yours apart. We had twin boys at work last year in the pre-k class. (I teach kindergarten.) Their own parents could not tell them apart and called both of them David-Daniel. =( The twins could correct you, but I worry they'll have an identity crisis later on after being called by their brother's name for years. And I wonder how the kids were even sure who they were themselves, I mean if your parents don't know you.... I'm just saying. Pitiful.

Hi Suz

I chanced upon your blog earlier today, and have just spent the last several hours reading it from start to finish...honestly, it's like a good book - I just couldn't put it down!! What a beautiful family you and Joe both have...with your four little darlings. They are so gorgeously precious - you must be so proud! You radiate pure joy...how blessed your children are to call you their Mum (or Mom as you would say!).

Sending warm wishes to you all from Brisbane, Australia.

Kylie (Mum of 3 girls - 4.5, 2.5 & 1)

Hey Suz, I just found your blog and I absolutely love it. Your "babies" are precious. Although I may not be able to visit as often as I would like, I will check in as much as possible. Keep on keeping on and

God Bless,

my husband and i live in abilene, but were visiting the metroplex over the weekend. i got SO EXCITED when i saw the quads on their billboard at 30 and 820! it just made my day.
i actually scared my husband, since i yelled "THERE! LOOK! THOSE ARE THE BABIES I READ ABOUT!" i guess he assumes when someone yells for him to look while he's driving, there's probably something scary going on :)

Lifting lots of prayers for Savannah today. May God bless the doctors as they peform the procedure, and bless Sav with strength and endurance to bounce right back to her sweet, sassy self. :) You and Joe will be in my thoughts and prayers too - it's NOT easy on mom and dad to watch their baby go though surgery. Lots of love to your whole family. - hb
