Slumber Party- Hospital Style

Whelp, its been quite the day. Poor little Sav has been in and out of pain--eating very little and drinking very little...just trying our best to keep her comfortable. The only person she cries for is "Mama" which has emptied every last ounce of emotional strength that I have left---rips my heart out.

Constant, steady flow of ice chips---no nausea this time! WOO HOO! (I stressed and STRESSED her postop N/V with the medical personnel before they took her back to surgery---looks like it worked!)

Gosh, I don't know who looks more uncomfortable!

My sweet little angel...lovin' the hair. And no matter how many times I keep adjusting her head, it manages to fall back down to this lovely position.

Savannah's tests are at 1:00pm tomorrow afternoon---then we are crossing our fingers to be home and in our own beds by tomorrow night. I'll try to update in the morning...praying for a calm & 'silent night' for the lil' miss.

Hi Suzanne-
I've been a creeper on your blog for about a year now. I am coming out of the dark! I am not sure how I even found you, but I've enjoyed following your story. I love your heart for God, your hubby and your kids. Anyhow...I once had a blog that has since become a book and I think you're just the kind of girl that would enjoy reading it. It's about a year of (bad) blind dates. Can I send you a free copy just because I like you so much? Email me back via my website. www.megancarson.com
Blessings! Megan

She's so beautiful even when she's miserable... poor baby :( It's the worst to see your kiddo in a hospital bed, isn't it? I am praying for you guys, and that the tests will be even better than hoped for!

awww, she looks totally wiped out. Poor babe.

I'm happy for her sake that this is the end of it and hopefully she'll never have to go through another operation.

Poor little Sav :-( these pictures just break my heart. I don't know how you do this time and time again. It would be so hard to watch my precious baby go through that! You are one strong momma! I pray that she gets good results and is home safe and sound tonight.

Sending y'all prayers! I notice that Joe's head seems to tip to the left just like Sav's. Must be her-head-i-tary!

I pray that all goes well, you all look exhausted, hospitals tend to do that to you, but she still looks precious too! Give her lots of hugs and kisses, they are a good cure for anything! Your friend in East Texas, Pam.
