40 Years of Marriage

To two of my most favorite people---who gave me life and brought me into this world…

scan0001[1]

We never know
Or fully realize

How sweet and kind our parents are,

scan0001[3]

How gentle and how wise

scan0001[1]-1

We simply take for granted,
From day to passing day,

GetAttachment[2]

Each sacrifice they make for us
In their own loving way.

scan0001[2]

But then we grow and finally learn,
The way that children do,
How much their love has really meant,
How thoughtful they've been, too -

scan0001[1]-2

And so this comes with all the thanks
You both deserve and more.
For there aren't two dearer parents
Than the one this post is for

…Mom and Dad, I love you more than words. Thank you for being such an incredible example of what a marriage should be (the best gift you could have EVER given me).

Happy Ruby Red 40th Anniversary!

Congratulations to your parents on their 40th wedding anniversary. What a blessing! Yesterday (the 14th) was my parents' 33rd anniversary, and I agree that their marriage is the best gift and example they have set for me and my sisters.

Might I add that your mom is an absolutely stunning bride! What a gorgeous gown!

Oh my gosh! you look so much like your beautiful Momma! So sweet. May God bless them deeper still and cause His face to shine on them forever.

Suze, I rarely ever leave a comment and don't personally know you, but just wanted to say that I really admire the joy with which you and your husband live out your days. I can imagine that parenting four children of the same age is exhausting and frustrating at times, but I really appreciate the examples of joy and faithfulness to God that you both show to the world. May He continue to bless you and your adorable family every step of the way.

One thing I'm surprised no one commented on is the fact that your brother and dad could be twins :)
