Its that magical time of year…
(Ben, Sav, Ethan, Drew)---after Sav’s “recital” last month. There are quotations around the word- “recital”, because the little miss ballerina totally freaked out and would NOT go on stage.

Oh that is so sad and kind of funny at the same time. I have a feeling my little Claire would be the same way. Glad you can laugh about it now.
Sorry you didn't get to watch your little dancin' diva but that's not uncommon at this age. My good friend has a dance studio and every year there are several little girls who either do nothing on stage, refuse to go on stage, or stand and cry once onstage. I bet Sav will rock her next recital! Elaine
My daughter did the same for both dancing and figure skating.
Just noticed in this picture of the three boys how much they look like your cousin Eric S. If Ben had dark hair, he could be Eric's "mini me" By the way we love Eric and Erin.....they are soooo sweet!
My daughter did the same thing when she was Sav's age and the whole audience went ahhhhh. Now she's a 16 year old who loves the stage!!
