We spent New Years Eve Day at the movies! Perfect activity for a cold and rainy day…

Sidenote: our kiddos are FINALLY to the age (5) where they will keep the glasses on during the entire show~ I don’t know why that always drove me crazy…. oh wait- maybe because those stupid glasses cost an extra $3 a piece??? LOL

I Manage a movie theatre and i can tell you that you aren't paying $3.00 for glasses, the glasses are free, you are paying for the 3D technology. It costs a lot of money to make movies in 3D, and to get the 3D technology in theatres, the $3 surcharge is to help recover the cost of that, not some cheap plastic glasses. IMO, 3D is really bad for your eyes, and overpriced, if a 2D option is available i would for sure save your money and go with that option, 3D really isn't worth it.

Looks like a lot of fun (everything you guys do looks like a lot of fun! ha!) Our NYE tradition is to stay home and invite over our 2 closest sets of friends. We all have kids now so the kids play while us adults talk and play board games. Low key but ALWAYS fun!
