This past week, the kids had an “Occupation Parade” at school…so I asked the kiddos what they want to be when they grow up~
At this point in time, we have:
Is anyone surprised?…. LOL.
Drew, Ben, and Ethan play with their trains together every single day. They make up stories and scenarios and finish each others’ sentences~ it is actually really cute:
“…and then Thomas headed up to the rock quarry (Drew)… but oh-no, Thomas’s engine stopped right there on the tracks (Ben)… and Percy had to get a crane to pull Thomas back to Tidmouth Sheds (Ethan)… “
~and so on and so forth. ALL. DAY. LONG.
Mom & Dad keep waiting for this “phase” to wear out~ but rest assured folks, it most definitely has not (and doesn’t seem to be any time soon).
Our little future train conductors! Drew, Ben, Ethan
And then there is Sav. When I asked her what she wanted to be, she paused for a second to think about it, and then responded with:
“Ummm…I want to be a ballerina, a cheerleader, a nurse, a princess, an artist…” ~(all GIRL, this one)~
Mom: “That’s great sweetie, but can you pick just one for the parade?”
Sav: “Papa said I can be anything I want to be…but okay, I’ll be a nurse”…
My wee little nurse. Such a proud Mama! Sav would make a great nurse.
The whole crew.
When I walked Savannah to class, her teacher, Mrs. Lee, was dressed in scrubs too!
At last, the big parade! Sav lighting up at the sight of her Daddy. LOVE it. Melt my heart.
Ethan smiling at Dad as well…
I love this picture of all of the parents & friends lining the hallways. (Cracks me up~ but it means so much to the little kiddies).
Here’s the next group~ Benny smiling big in his cap.
There’s Andrew a few steps behind~ huge grin! Love it.
There’s Auntie Liz on the right! Granna was here for the festivities as well. The kids loved it!
Behold! The future of American Railroad and Patient Care.

I have been following your blog for about a year now and your kids are so cute!
Awwww!
That's awesome!
Your kiddos are adorable! And very lucky to have family that lives close enough to attend all the fun events!!

My 8 year old loved trains for a really long time. It makes me happy to watch your boys have the same love. It has sadly been replaced now, but he will still play with trains if someone else initiates it.
After reading your blog for a while I think Sav should be a child life therapist... she would be great at it, but a nurse is a good one too.
I've been following your blog since the quads were born, but I've never commented before. Can we say, "Stalker?" :) Your four blessings are just so delightfully charming. Trains are a big deal at our house, too. I just commented to my husband yesterday that I'd love someone to hand me the same amount of money as we've spent on various Thomas toys over the past four years. Yeesh!
wow awesome! just cute :)
