A Day in the Life of Suz Steece

As you know, there are many various stages of life. We have been through the fun dating life, young married years, small babies craziness, etc. Right now, we are currently living in the "fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants-running-100-mph" stage. With 6.5 year old quadruplets in Kindergarten and extra curricular activities, life can get crazy busy! But it is an absolute blast and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I thought it would be fun to take you through a typical day in the life of Suz Steece.


It's a mad dash to get everyone up, showered, fed, packed and out the door for school. A certain 4-legged furry buddy likes to come along for the ride!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Next up, I head to my wonderful job as a surgical nurse. I LOVE my profession. It is a physically demanding job and many times I am exhausted by the end of the day- but it is totally worth it.

 

 

 

 

I leave work to pick up the kiddos from school and we hit up the neighborhood park because it is an absolutely gorgeous day! 

 

 

 

 

We are a very active family and love spending time together outside.

 

 

 

 

 

We head home and start on homework. Every day the kids write out sentences using their spelling words, then they take turns reading to Mom. (2 books per child, times 4 kids~ it takes a good 30-40 minutes, folks!) 

 

 

 

 

Starting to get nervous that I haven't prepared anything for dinner, but then I remember that I have a Stouffer's Family Size Lasagna in the freezer! SCORE!!! Now, I can pop it in the oven for an hour and go play outside with the kiddos!

With the weather as beautiful as it has been this spring, our family LOVES to enjoy meals outside on the patio. Great food, good company, what could be better? CHEERS!
